Orange, CA, October 4, 2006 — Action Pursuit Group (APG) today announces the launch of its latest shelter publication, Cottages and Bungalows magazine, which focuses on historic homes built from the 1890s to the 1950s.  Styles include everything from traditional Craftsman bungalows to English Tudor cottages; homes range from the lakeside cottage to the beach house.  Departments are written by well-known authorities and cover areas of how-to, restoration, period kitchens and baths, Arts and Crafts, home accessories and Mission-style furniture. 

“Historic homes are the ‘new green,’ the ultimate recycling effort,” says Merrie Destefano, Editor of both Cottages & Bungalows and Victorian Homes magazines. “Turn on your TV today, to almost any channel, and you’ll witness firsthand the fever that’s sweeping across our country. Restoration and renovation are the hot new buzzwords. People are hard at work, updating their existing homes. Given today’s soft real estate market, that trend will continue as more people purchase small homes or historic homes that need a little work rather than over-priced, newer homes that are already completed.
